Troubled Minds Author to Speak at Saddleback Mental Health Gathering

Amy Simpson, author of Troubled Minds: Mental Illness and the Church's Mission, will be a featured speaker at The Gathering on Mental Health and the Church at Saddleback Church on March 28. This daylong event will address a range of mental health issues, from bipolar disorder to suicide to more easily hidden issues such as anxiety, eating disorders and addiction.

IVP Author Receives Nelson Mandela Community Activist Award

InterVarsity Press author Rev. Peter Heltzel was honored with the 2014 Nelson Mandela Community Activist Award for his ongoing work to make a difference in New York City. The award was presented by the New York City Clergy Roundtable at the Nelson Mandela Tribute & Award Ceremony on Friday, March 7, at First Corinthian Baptist Church in New York.
