As the country moves into the 2020 election season InterVarsity Press has announced that it is releasing and providing resources to equip voters in understanding as well as engaging the issues of our day from a faith perspective. On Tuesday, July 21, IVP will release Compassion (&) Conviction: The AND Campaign's Guide to Faithful Civic Engagement, which will be included among the titles on the newly launched webpage "Books on Politics and Government" at ivpress.com.

IVP to Serve as Official Publisher of First Nations Version of the New Testament

InterVarsity Press is pleased to announce that they will be partnering with Rain Ministries to serve as the official publisher of First Nations Version of the full New Testament, which is scheduled to release in 2021. The First Nations Version of the New Testament is a new translation, attempting to capture the simplicity, clarity, and beauty of our Native storytellers in English, while remaining faithful to the original language of the New Testament.

Terence Lester is the author of I See You: How Love Opens Our Eyes to Invisible People and founder of Love Beyond Walls, a not-for-profit organization focused on poverty awareness and community mobilization. Out of a deep concern for the homeless during the Coronavirus, Love Beyond Walls has created portable hand-washing stations for those living on the streets.
