RELEVANT Magazine and Englewood Review of Books have both named InterVarsity Press titles as the best of 2015.

Prophetic Lament: A Call for Justice in Troubled Times by Soong-Chan Rah was named the Best Theology Book of 2015 by Englewood Review of Books and one of the Top Ten Books of 2015 by RELEVANT. RELEVANT offers this description: "2015 has been a year stained by violence—police violence, violence against Muslims and of course, the violence of mass shootings. How do we respond in the face of such pervasive violence in our world? Soong-Chan Rah answers this question by turning our attention to the biblical practice of lament. This timely book is indeed prophetic in its call for us to live as the faithful and repentant people of God in our violent age."

The Vulnerable Pastor: How Human Limitations Empower Our Ministry by Mandy Smith was also selected by the Englewood Review of Books as one of the Best Praxis Books of 2015. The Englewood website says, "Our criterion both for selecting books to review and for honoring the year's best books is to choose books that are 'for the life and flourishing of the Church'—i.e., books that energize us to be the local community of God's people that God has called us to be and that nurture our mission of following in the way of God's reconciliation of all things (in all its broadness!)."
