Amy Peeler

Amy Peeler (PhD, Princeton Theological Seminary) is an associate professor of New Testament at Wheaton College. Her primary research centers in the Epistle to the Hebrews, exploring ancient rhetoric, the use of the Old Testament in the New, Israel's sacrificial system, atonement, family, and inheritance in the Ancient World, and theological language. She is a Hebrews committee member of the Society of Biblical Literature, an analytic theology committee member at the Evangelical Theological Society, and a fellow of the Center for Pastoral Theologians. She lives in Wheaton, Illinois, with her husband, Lance, and their children.
