IVP author and beloved Regent College professor Dr. Donald Munro Lewis, seventy-one, passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Lewis taught and served in various roles at Regent College for forty years, most notably as professor of church history.

Amy Simpson, author of Troubled Minds: Mental Illness and the Church's Mission, will be a featured speaker at The Gathering on Mental Health and the Church at Saddleback Church on March 28. This daylong event will address a range of mental health issues, from bipolar disorder to suicide to more easily hidden issues such as anxiety, eating disorders and addiction.

Fred C. Gingrich
Fred C. Gingrich was professor of counseling at Denver Seminary for sixteen years. He previously taught in Ontario for eight years and directed MA and EdD degrees in counseling at seminaries in the Philippines. He retired as developer and directorof the MA in marriage and family therapy program at the Toccoa Falls College School of Graduate Studies. He is coeditor of Treating Trauma in Christian Counseling.

Belinda is also the founder of and the visionary behind #SilenceIsNotSpiritual, a campaign calling churches to break the silence on violence against women. Belinda is a speaker and contributor to Newsweek's The Daily Beast, Red Tent Living, Huffington Post, and Christianity Today. Belinda completed a masters in curriculum development at Covenant College, and a certificate in lay trauma counseling from the Seattle School of Theology. She and her husband, Stephan, and their two sons live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
