Tracie Braylock (MSN, BSN, RN) is a holistic nurse educator, writer, and wellness consultant. As a former operating room nurse, she advocates for mind, body, spirit well-being, holistic wellness experiences, and liberating relaxation. Her work hasbeen featured in the American Holistic Nurses Association New Beginnings magazine, Proverbs 31 Ministries, and Hallmark Mahogany. Tracie teaches workshops, leads retreats, and lectures on issues related to nursing, writing, self-care, and healing lifestyles. She lives in Ohio with her family.
Amena Brown is a poet, speaker and event host from Atlanta, Georgia. The author of a chapbook and two spoken word CDs, Brown performs and speaks in intimate venues and at national conferences. She and her husband, Matt (also known as DJ Opdiggy),host a local open mic and travel extensively, performing a presentation of poetry, monologue and deejaying.
Sharon Garlough Brown is a spiritual director, speaker, and cofounder of Abiding Way Ministries, providing spiritual formation retreats and resources. She is the author of the bestselling Sensible Shoes Series of novels, which includes Sensible Shoes, Two Steps Forward, Barefoot, An Extra Mile, and their study guides.
Luann Budd has taught writing at San Jose State University. She is the President of NEWIM, the Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry (www.NEWIM.org) and is a frequent facilitator at The Springs Retreat for women looking to grow deeper in theirlove for the Lord through the contemplative approaches. Cindy Bunch is vice president for InterVarsity Press editorial where she acquires and develops books on spiritual formation. She is also the author of Be Kind to Yourself as well as a number of LifeGuide® Bible studies. Cindy is a trained spiritual director and lives with her husband in the Chicago area.
Noel Forlini Burt (PhD, Drew University) teaches and lectures widely in the intersection of biblical studies and spiritual formation. She is the author of Hope in the Wilderness: Spiritual Reflections for When God Feels Far Away and Encounters in the Dark: Identity Formation in the Jacob Story. She is certified as a spiritual director (Truett Seminary) and in spiritual formation (Upper Room Academy for Spiritual Formation).
Alexis Busetti (MHR, MDiv) is currently pursuing a PhD in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. She hosts the
That Makes Total Sense! podcast and is committed to journeying toward the heart of God, exploring his generosity and justice, seeking out how to live it every single day. Alexis lives in Houston with her husband, Seth, and their four amazing children.
Aubrey E. Buster (PhD, Emory University) is associate professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College. She is the author of Remembering the Story of Israel and coauthor (with John H. Walton) of a commentary on the book of Daniel.
Margarita R. Cabellon is the executive director of BridgeLeader Network. She coordinates training and speaking engagements on diversity issues with churches, businesses and other large organizations.
Adele Ahlberg Calhoun and her husband Doug have served on the pastoral staff of four churches and are currently copastors of spiritual formation at Highrock Covenant Church in Arlington, Massachusetts. As certified Enneagram instructors, they enjoy resourcing spiritual leaders and pastors through spiritual direction and teaching the Enneagram. Adele is the author of Spiritual Disciplines Handbook, Invitations from God, and coauthor of True You.
