Julie Lane-Gay is a freelance writer and editor. Her work has appeared in a range of publications including Reader's Digest, Fine Gardening, Faith Today, Anglican Planet, and The Englewood Review of Books. She teaches occasionalcourses at Regent College and also edits the college's journal, CRUX. She lives with her husband, Craig, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is active in her local Anglican church.
Sandy Larsen has written more than forty books and Bible studies with her husband, Dale, including Growing Older and Wiser in the LifeGuide Bible Studies series.
Marion H. Larson (PhD, University of Minnesota) is professor of English at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Breanna Lathrop is chief operating officer and a family nurse practitioner for Good Samaritan Health Center. She earned her doctor of nursing practice from Georgia Southern University and a master of public health and a master of nursing from Emory University. She is passionate about eliminating health disparities through improving health care access and health outcomes among vulnerable populations, and has previously published on the social determinants of health.
Kara Lawler is the author of Everywhere Holy: Seeing Beauty, Remembering Your Identity, and Finding God Right Where You Are and A Letter for Every Mother, but she has wanted to publish a children’s book since she was a little girl! As a contributor to several magazines and websites, some of her essays have been read and shared millions of times. Kara loves the outdoors, and she especially enjoys the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania where she lives with her husband, her two children, and their many dogs.
Kate Lawson-Hedger (MA, Virginia Theological Seminary) has ministered in various roles, including serving as a children's ministry director, piloting a prayer ministry, and developing spiritual formation resources for both children and adults. Sheserves as the campaign and stewardship manager with Bread for the World. Kate lives with her husband in Northern Virginia.
Christine Lawton (PhD, St. Louis University) is a lifelong Christian educator who has served as youth and family minister in various churches, teacher in Christian schools, and professor/director of the Christian education program at Concordia University Irvine. She is the author of several Bible studies and Sunday school curriculum resources. She lives in Washington State.
Dorina Lazo Gilmore-Young (MFA, Hollins) is a speaker, teacher, podcaster, and journalist. As the author of several Bible studies and devotionals including Redeemer: God's Lovingkindness in the Book of Ruth and Breathing Through Grief, Dorina frequently speaks at churches and retreats. She is also president of the Redbud Writers Guild and the author of several children’s books, including Cora Cooks Pancit and Chasing God’s Glory. Dorina lives in Central California with her husband Shawn and three daughters, where she loves to run on trails and go on foodie adventures.
Phyllis J. Le Peau (1944-2022) worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for over two decades in St. Louis and the Chicago metro area. She is the author or coauthor of several Bible study guides, including Ephesians, Women of the New Testament, and Grandparenting in the LifeGuide Bible Studies series. She and her husband, Andy, have four married children and thirteen grandchildren.
Tara Beth Leach (MDiv, Northern Seminary) is a pastor, author, and speaker. The senior pastor at Good Shepherd Church (Naperville, Illinois), she has also served communities in the Chicago suburbs as well as Southern California. As the author of Emboldened, Radiant Church, and Forty Days on Being a Six, the cofounder of Propel Ecclesia, and cohost of The Pastor's Table podcast, Tara Beth writes and speaks widely about women in ministry and church leadership. She hastwo beautiful and rambunctious sons and has been married to the love of her life, Jeff, since 2006.
