Ericka Andersen is a journalist whose writing has appeared in Christianity Today, World Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. She is the author of Leaving Cloud 9 and Reason to Return: Why Women Need the Church and the Church Needs Women. She lives with her husband and two children in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Kathryn Applegate (PhD, The Scripps Research Institute) is program director at BioLogos, where she designs and coordinates programs aimed at translating scholarship on origins for the evangelical church.
Quina Aragon is an author, speaker, and spoken-word artist. She has written three children's books—Love Made, Love Gave, and Love Can—and a book for adults, Love Has a Story. Born in Manila and raised in Orlando, Quina is of Filipina, Puerto Rican, and Jamaican descent. As a first-generation child of immigrants, she has navigated layered identities, finding refuge in the warmth of her extended family. Her writing explores identity, migration, and the way our personal and cultural stories echo Scripture's grand narrative. Today Quina lives in Orlando with her husband, Jon, and their daughter, Jael.
Lane M. Arnold holds a master's degree in education and is a spiritual director with a certificate in Christian Formation and Soul Care from Denver Seminary. She offers spiritual direction via Skype and from her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Christine Aroney-Sine is the founder and facilitator for God Space, an online community that grew out of her passion for creative spirituality, gardening, and sustainability. She and her husband, Tom, are cofounders of Mustard Seed Associates. Christine trained as a physician in Australia, practiced in New Zealand, and developed and directed the healthcare ministry for Mercy Ships. Her books include Rest in the Moment, Return to Our Senses, GodSpace, and Tales of a Seasick Doctor.
Emma M. Austin (PhD, Alphacrucis University College) is a lecturer in Old Testament studies and Biblical Hebrew at Alphacrucis University College in Queensland, Australia, where she is also the program director for the Master of Theology degree.
Lynne M. Baab is the author of multiple books and Bible studies. A Presbyterian minister, she completed a Ph.D. in communication at the University of Washington in 2007 and moved with her husband to Dunedin, New Zealand, where she is a lecturer in pastoral theology at the University of Otago.
Lynne is the author of eight books, including A Renewed Spirituality, Sabbath Keeping, Fasting, Sabbath, Personality Type in Congregations, Embracing Midlife, Beating Burnout in Congregations, Reaching Out in a Networked World: Expressing Your Congregation's Heart and Soul and Friending. She is also the author of three LifeGuide Bible Studies.
Marybeth Baggett (PhD, Indiana University of Pennsylvania) is professor of English at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is the coauthor of At the Bend of the River Grand and the editor of They Hummed of Mystery: Representations of Faith in the Contemporary American Novel.
Laura Baghdassarian Murray (DMin, Fuller Seminary) is the director of spiritual engagement and innovation at Fuller Seminary's Center for Spiritual Formation. She is the author of Pray as You Are, serves on the Ministry Collaborative Advisory Board, and previously served at Highland Park Presbyterian Church as the pastor of spiritual formation. Laura is also the founder of the Digital Silent Retreat Ministry, which is rooted in the practice of hospitality to provide brave and courageous spaces for people to connect with God and others (www.digitalsilentretreats.com). She lives in the Dallas area with her husband and two children.
Janis Bragan Balda is a professor of management at Fuller Seminary and UCLA Extension. She established the Peter F. Drucker Society of the Caribbean at SGU and is a principal at the Max De Pree Center for Leadership.
