  • InterVarsity Press won the Crystal Book Award for book design presented by the Midwest Publishing Association (MPA) at the MPA's sixty-first annual Book and Media Show held on October 18 at the Newberry Library in Chicago. InterVarsity Press (IVP) took home three awards, including two honorable mentions, for "pushing the edges of publishing design."

  • InterVarsity Press partnered with Hearts & Minds Books of Dallastown, PA, to host the launch event on May 16 for Michael Card's new book in the Biblical Imagination Series, Matthew: The Gospel of Identity, and the accompanying CD, Matthew: The Penultimate Question. Nearly two hundred people filled the Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, PA, to hear from "classy/casual acoustic musician (and smarty-pants author) Mr. Michael Card," as described by Hearts & Minds Books owner Byron Borger.

  • InterVarsity Press authors Richard Foster and James Bryan Smith keynoted the second annual Aprentis Institute Conference on spiritual formation at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, last month. InterVarsity Press (IVP) cosponsored the sold-out event, along with the Aprentis Institute for Christian Spiritual Formation, Renovare and Christian Audio.
