David W. Appleby (Ph.D., University of Delaware; Ph.D., University of Northern Colorado) is a minister, counselor and trainer working in the overlapping fields of family counseling, psychology and deliverance ministry. He is the founder and president of Spiritual Interventions Inc., a nonprofit organization that promotes spiritual interventions in Christian counseling practice. He also teaches courses in psychology and professional and pastoral counseling at the Center for Counseling and Family Studies at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia.

Fil Anderson is a spiritual director, conference speaker, writer and retreat leader trained through the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. He is the founder of Journey Resources and author of Running on Empty: Contemplative Spiritualityfor Overachievers (WaterBrook). He also contributed to Transformation of a Man's Heart: Reflections on the Masculine Journey (IVP). Macchia (DMin, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) is founder and president of Leadership Transformations, Inc., a ministry which focuses on the spiritual formation needs of leaders and the spiritual discernment processes of leadershipteams in local church and parachurch ministry settings nationwide. Steven L. Porter (PhD, University of Southern California) is professor of theology and philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and at Rosemead School of Psychology (Biola University). His areas of interest include spiritual formation, theologicalmethodology, and philosophical theology. He is also scholar in residence at Biola's Center for Christian Thought. Porter is the author of Restoring the Foundations of Epistemic Justification and serves as the managing editor of the Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. He has contributed articles to the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, Faith and Philosophy, Philosophia Christi, Journal for Psychology and Theology, and Journal of Psychology and Christianity.

Doug Calhoun
Doug Calhoun and his wife Adele have served on the pastoral staff of four churches and are currently copastors of spiritual formation at Highrock Covenant Church in Arlington, Massachusetts. As certified Enneagram instructors, they enjoy resourcing spiritual leaders and pastors through spiritual direction and teaching the Enneagram. Previously Chris served as president of Renovaré USA. He has ministered in awide variety of churches in Wales and the UK, and in a church for the homeless. He is author of The Fire of the Word. Chris lives in Leicestershire, England, with his wife and four children.
