She served as editor of the monthly Reflections teaching letter from 2017 until 2023. She cowrote Shaped by Suffering and A Guide to Practicing God’s Presence with Ken Boa and edited Life in the Presence of God. Owner of Jenny M. Kathryn Applegate (PhD, The Scripps Research Institute) is program director at BioLogos, where she designs and coordinates programs aimed at translating scholarship on origins for the evangelical church. She earned bachelors degrees in biophysics and mathematics at Centenary College of Louisiana and a PhD in computational cell biology from The Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla). At Scripps she developed computer vision algorithms and mathematical models of the cell’s internal scaffold, the cytoskeleton. Kathryn enjoys an active involvement in both the science and faith community and in her church. She and her husband, Brent, have two young children and love exploring the state parks of Michigan together.

Lynne M. Baab is the author of numerous books and Bible studies. A Presbyterian minister, she completed a PhD in communication at the University of Washington in 2007 and moved with her husband to Dunedin, New Zealand, where she taught pastoral theology at the University of Otago for ten years. She returned to her home city, Seattle, in 2017 and still supervises graduate students for her university in New Zealand. Lynne is the author of several novels and ten Christian books, including A Renewed Spirituality, Sabbath Keeping, Fasting, and Friending. She has written three LifeGuide Bible Studies: Prayers of the Old Testament, Prayers of the New Testament, and Sabbath: The Gift of Rest.

Janis Bragan Balda (PhD, Claremont Graduate University) is professor of management, currently teaching at Fuller Seminary and UCLA Extension. She formerly taught at St.George's University in the Caribbean and George Fox University. Dr. Balda also established the Peter F. Drucker Society of the Caribbean at SGU while working as a principal at the Max De Pree Center for Leadership. As an attorney, she has practiced international law for thirty years and served as World Vision International's first in-house legal counsel, as well as set up the initial Drucker archives project with Peter Drucker.
