James F. Nyquist (d. 2023) served in many capacities at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship including as literature secretary for International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) for over twenty years. He served as director of IVP from 1964 to 1983, growing it from a small literature distribution service to a major evangeligal publisher.
