So you just bought an ebook from ivpress.com. Hooray! Now you may have questions about how to get it from your account to your device. Ebook support is available for downloading, locating, accessing, and gifting.

Ebooks are for individual use only, (you knew that) and sold individually. 

Ebook Formats

Ebooks sold on ivpress.com are created in ePub format.*

• EPUB is short for electronic publication. A majority of devices support EPUB files, use a browser to search and find the best application for your device.
• IVP no longer distribues books digitally as PDF files. If you are a college or university disability office looking for accessible editions students with disabilities visit our permissions page.

*Some older titles are still available in MOBI format, however, MOBI is no longer supported on newer Kindle apps or devices. Compatible formats now include EPUB (.epub), which you can send to your library using your "Send to Kindle email address" EPUB support has also been added to the free Kindle app for iOS and Android devices and the "Send to Kindle desktop app" for PC and Mac. How to Download an Ebook

To download an ebook you have purchased, follow these steps:

1. Sign in with your username and password.
2. Click on My Downloads at the bottom of any page at ivpress.com or click on My Account at the top right corner, then click My Downloads.
3. Locate the title(s) you want to download and click the link to download your desired ebook file type by August 15, 2023.

How to Locate an Ebook

We make the most recent edition of our ebooks available on our website. If you previously purchased an ebook and no longer see the file in your downloads a new edition has replaced it or it has been discontinued. To get a copy of the previously purchased older edition, please call customer service at (800) 843-9487 (option 2) or email us at customerservice@ivpress.com. If you don't see your recently purchased ebook, please contact customer service for assistance.

How to Gift an Ebook

To gift an ebook, add the ebook you would like to gift to your cart. In the shipping section of checkout, select Ship to Someone Else and add your recipients name, email, and address. The email you provide will become their user name on ivpress.com. The shipping address is required, as some states charge tax on ebooks.

After you complete your purchase, email your ebook recipient the instructions below.

I have purchased an ebook for you!

If you have never ordered from IVP before: 

• Go to ivpress.com and select Already a customer? Activate your account. An account was created for you.
• Follow the prompt and enter the email address that you received this email.
• Set up your password, using the link in the verification email you will receive. Please allow 30 minutes for receipt and check your junk folder.
• Click My Downloads under the Help section at the bottom of the screen.

If you have an account with IVP, sign in using the email address used to send you this email. Click My Downloads under the Help section at the bottom of the screen.

Downloading Operation World

The Operation World ebook is especially large due to lots of charts and maps that are included, especially in the PDF file, so it may take extra time to download (in some cases 15 minutes or longer).
