How Do I Order Online?
Click on links to book pages or search for particular books using the search box in the upper right corner of every web page. Then click on "Add to Cart" links to put a book in your webstore cart. When you are ready, follow the "Checkout Now" links. You'll be asked to sign in before you can see your 30% discount and finish your order; your login is your IVP Book Club account number and your password is the letters "ivp" plus the 5-digit ZIP code associated with your account (refer to a recent Reply Card for these or contact us for help).
What If I Forget to Decline Before the Reply Date?
If you miss the reply date by only two or three days, contact us right away so that we can try to stop shipment. If it is too late to stop shipment, simply wait to receive the book package, leave it unopened, write "refused" on it, and put it back in your mailbox. The post office will return the package to us without charging you for shipping. When we receive the package, we will credit your account.
Can I Get My Main Selection Shipped Before the Reply Date?
Yes, if it is available. First, be sure to decline the Main Selection. Next, order the title immediately by adding it to your cart, by mailing/faxing it on the reply card you receive with your monthly Digest, or by telephoning us. Can I Get Only One Title from a Double-Title Main Selection?

What If I Get a Main Selection I Didn't Want?
If you did not open the box, write "refused" on it, and put it back in your mailbox. The post office will return the package to us without charging you for shipping. When we receive the package, we will credit your account. If you did open the box, repack it securely and mail it back to us at IVP Book Club Returns, InterVarsity Press, 430 Plaza Drive, Westmont, IL 60559. You will be responsible to pay for return shipping, but we will credit you for all other charges.
What If I Get a Damaged Book in My Shipment?
Please save the invoice included in the book package. Contact us within 15 days. We will ship you a replacement or credit your account, whichever you prefer.
What Will I Pay for Shipping?
No matter how it is shipped, charges for orders placed through our webstore are based on your order total as follows:
- $0 - 19.99, add $5.50
- $20 - 49.99, add $6.50
- $50 - 74.99, add $7.50
- $75 - 99.99, add $8.50
- $100 or more, add 8%
Charges for Main Selection shipments may vary slightly; when we can, we charge you exactly what it costs us to ship the book package, based on weight and distance.
How Quickly Will My Books Be Shipped?
Delivery times vary depending upon both the method of shipment and the distance your order must travel from our distribution center near Chicago, Illinois. Orders shipped via UPS and Fed Ex ground service usually arrive within 2 to 5 business days (count on 5 business days for any order traveling to the East or West Coasts). Orders shipped via USPS at book rate may take between one and four weeks.
What If I Need My Books in a Hurry?
Third-day, second-day or next-day shipping is available, but not through our webstore. Please telephone 630.734.4111. (Please note: UPS 3rd-day select is about double the cost of ground shipping; UPS 2nd-day is four times as costly; and UPS next-day is six times as costly.)
What If I Live Outside the USA?
IVP Book Club membership is available only to those with USA billing/shipping addresses. This is due to unpredictable delivery times and expensive shipping and customs fees. If you live outside the USA, you may still buy our books; please review our International web page for more information.
How Can I Pay My Account Balance?
You can pay online during checkout only. For payment of outstanding account balances, you may mail, fax or telephone payment, referencing your invoice number(s). See our Contact Customer Service web page for mail, telephone and fax information.
Can I Manage My Account or Pay Online?
Because your book club account records are kept on a computer system that we do not wish to jeopardize by direct connection on the Internet, you will still need to contact us by mail, telephone or e-mail to conduct the following transactions:
- change your billing/shipping address and other information
- check or change the status of new orders
- review past orders
- pay an outstanding account balance
What If I Forget My IVP Online Login or Password?
If you have forgotten the login or password for your IVP Book Club Account, please refer to your most recent invoice, statement or Book Club reply card. Your login is your account number and your password is your 5-digit ZIP code preceded by the letters "ivp".
