Psalm 119:1-24: Searching for God's Wisdom

FEW SITUATIONS BRING life to a grinding halt like losing a contact lens. Have you ever seen it happen to a major-league baseball pitcher? Frustration turns to comedy as fellow players trickle out from the dugout and hunch over the mound on hands and knees. Fans get restless. Commentators start reminiscing about recent games. The TV audience goes on commercial break.

If we are going to have the vision to see life from God's perspective, we will regularly have to stop everything, hunker down and find out just what that perspective is. Like finding a contact lens, God's wisdom is simply worth whatever inconveniences may come in its pursuit.
