Nahum 3: The Aftermath of Judgment
AFTER TRAGEDY STRIKES, shock sets in. The victims become disoriented as they attempt to cope. Everyone else has an angle and an explanation for the tragedy. The question is pondered: could this have been avoided? Nahum closes with a woeful survey of the "city of blood" (3:1). We catch a glimpse of the sad aftermath of God's judgment.

Responding in Prayer
Nahum celebrates "the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace!" (1:15). Thank God that in the midst of the most terrible events, God is fulfilling his own purposes. Ask him to empower you to bring good news and proclaim peace today.
