Joshua 20—21: The Lord Fulfills His Promises
HOW DOES FAITH differ from wishful thinking? Why should we expect God to answer our prayers, to provide us with food and clothing, or to be involved in jobs or family? How do we know our faith isn't simply foolishness? Scripture tells us that true faith must be grounded in God's promises. If God has promised to do something, then we can trust him wholeheartedly. If he has not promised to do something, then all the faith in the world won't make it happen. In Joshua 20—21 we see the final outcome of God's promises to Israel.
