Examination Copies

We encourage professors to examine InterVarsity Press titles for use as required or supplementary course texts. To make your request, use our academic order form, the form included in one of our academic catalogs, or your institution's letterhead.

All requests must include the name and title of the professor(s) teaching the course, the name of the institution, the IVP title(s), the name of the course for which each title is being considered, and the anticipated enrollment for each course.

One free examination copy may be requested per professor per course, regardless of the number of semesters the course is taught. IVP reserves the right to refuse an examination copy request.

Professional Discount

Professors may order for personal use one copy of any InterVarsity Press title(s) at 40% off the retail price. These orders may be placed through our online webstore; you will receive the correct discount if (after you click the "add to cart" button for one or more items) you sign in to the webstore using your IVP professor account number as your login and the lowercase letters "ivp" followed by the five-digit zip code we have on file for your professor account.

You may also continue to order professional discount titles using our academic order form, the form included in one of our academic catalogs, or your institution's letterhead.

Please include the professor's name and title, the name of the institution, the IVP title(s), the billing and shipping addresses, and the preferred shipping method.
